Mary K. Zaborniak is a versatile musician from the Chicagoland area performing on piano, accordion and organ.
From soloist to ensemble member, Mary can be seen around Chicago and suburban areas as a
solo pianist, French Accordionist, German Oktoberfest musician and singer,
pianist in professional big bands,
and keyboardist in her combo.
Mary recently volunteered her live music as Strolling Accordionist for the Wheaton College Artist Series at their Conservatory of Music, played keyboards for a fundraiser at The Metropolitan Club in Willis (Sears) Tower with her popular combo, performed at the Chicago French Market, and served as pit orchestra accordionist in two productions of "Fiddler on the Roof". She completed a busy Oktoberfest season with her German trio FESTMUSIK with Frank, Mary & Greg, playing regular engagements at west suburban German restaurants. Mary has had an ongoing monthly residency at The Drake Hotel-OakBrook since 2017.
Mary has decades of professional experience in the live music industry, with her versatility and diversity setting her apart from others. She is comfortable strolling with her accordion in an intimate French cafe or performing as keyboardist for large crowds at outdoor concerts. Early career choices as church organist and band leader prepared her for her role as performer in many genres and business manager of her busy schedule.
